Taking a photo every day is tough! Seriously? You have to take at least 3 to get a good one, and you have to vary it up so you’re always looking around you for an opportunity, which leads to interesting conversations, but can at times get to be a pain. All that to say, my Project 365 is slow-going. I tend to leave my camera out at the best moments! It takes a lot of cultivating to remember to stop and capture those good memories that you’re having.
Day 20
3 09 2009
Feet that should be in bed
So I’m getting pumped up b/c I have a cool “opportunity” ahead of me to help get rid of my debt. Opportunity makes it sound cool, so I’m staying positive even though I don’t like the idea of losing daylight to work! I dread the day I’ll have to lose sleep over a kid. (All in God’s timing…) So I’m listening to music that’ll pump me up (“Gotta Work” by Amerie), focusing on how cool I’ll look in a uniform, and trying to think positive…
Anyway I get back home after a long day finally, washed up, changed clothes, said goodnight to everyone, and what do I do instead of hitting the pillow? Get on the internet. I didn’t even do anything productive with it! But now I know what everyone’s doing over the weekend.
Hello. My name is Michelle, and I’m addicted to Facebook.

Project 365: Day 1
12 08 2009
Where's my camera?
There’s no better time than the present! So I’m starting this Project 365 which is coming at a great time…I just realized I can work on my blog while at work =)
But seriously, I have been thinking “what can I do that will make much of Jesus?” I’ve had some pretty convicting Bible study time and being at a computer for most of the day has opened some great doors (daily devotionals, shopping online (just kidding) godly articles for young adults, free chill out music, books I can download!…)
The photo project is in no means God’s call on my life, but it is pretty cool. 1 picture a day, 1 way to reflect on life, 1 testimony that networks into many others…it’s the power of 1! And a good way to keep writing and stay in touch with others, even if they may try to “outdo” my project.
Note to Megan: You can’t get one up on perfection.

Come on in!
I’ve got a long way to go.
(Hopefully some sign of progress will reflect the constant growth Jesus brings in our own lives when we CHOOSE to live daily with Him!)
By the way, I found out about the project visiting KSBJ’s website under Liz Jordan’s page. I think it’s pretty amazing and so I’m trying to get more people (ahem, Hannah, Monica, please return my text messages) to do it with me! Please consider it and give me feedback!!!
