QUOTATION I’D LIKE TO CARRY

I read this just now although it was published 3 years ago to summarize a part of a book entitled “Sex and the Supremacy of Christ.” I’d love to share it and show the love it implies:

“We must be the people who cannot talk about sex without talking about marriage, and the people who can’t talk about anything of substance or significance without dependence on the Bible. We must be the people who have a theology adequate to explain the deadly deception of sin, as well as a theology adequate to explain Christ’s victory over sin. We must be honest about sin as the denial of God’s glory, even as we point to redemption as the glory of God restored. We must be the people who love homosexuals more than homosexuals love homosexuality, and we must be the people who tell the truth about homosexual marriage and refuse even to accept its conceptual possibility, because we know what is at stake.” - Albert Mohler

For all those who haven’t gone, Salem, South Carolina is one of the most beautiful places on earth - especially from where I stayed with my family. Enjoy the pictures. =)

VACATION TIME

I’m about to go to North or South Carolina with my family and I’m pretty excited! I don’t even know the plans (or the state), but hopefully I’ll get to catch up with some friends I haven’t seen in a while (like 4 years!). Yes! Cheers for getting away from the normal. If I get a chance, I’ll post some pictures of the beautiful mountain scenery and maybe skiing(?). As a disclaimer, I am not a fan of cold weather. But I love being outside in the cold for short periods of time. I’ll try to get some good shots in between catching my breath from the elevation.  =)

 ME

You know that section of Thoreau’s Walden where he states why he went into the woods? I really like that. I don’t live in the woods, but I live fully. I love the people I’ve gotten to know, and the experiences I’ve had. And the ones that are pretty sour, I write about.
