THE BASICS
Hello! I’m Michelle, I’m from Houston, TX, I’m an English major, I’m short…my family is from a beautiful part of this world called Belize, I’m currently in a Masters program for Education which I’m still debating (lots of $$$)… I love the fact that you’ve check out this page, but more than anything, I love sharing the love of Christ through my life, my actions, and my words. I’m currently enjoying the privilege of teaching English as a Second Language and as aloof as it sounds, I’m waiting on God to see where He’ll lead me. BELIZE
Well I finally got to go to Belize thanks to a really great group of girls who were looking for a good deal for their vacation. I lucked out. =) Although it was only 4 days, they were amazing. Belize was beautiful and I was honestly sad to leave. On Sunday, I got to spend time with my grandpa whom I hadn’t seen in over 10 years…it was a blessing among other things, and I’m so grateful to God for this small place in the earth. It was very good. 
I had to cut back on the pictures for the slideshow but you should definitely go to see for yourself

VACATION TIME
I’m about to go to North or South Carolina with my family and I’m pretty excited! I don’t even know the plans (or the state), but hopefully I’ll get to catch up with some friends I haven’t seen in a while (like 4 years!). Yes! Cheers for getting away from the normal. If I get a chance, I’ll post some pictures of the beautiful mountain scenery and maybe skiing(?). As a disclaimer, I am not a fan of cold weather. But I love being outside in the cold for short periods of time. I’ll try to get some good shots in between catching my breath from the elevation. =)
ME
You know that section of Thoreau’s Walden where he states why he went into the woods? I really like that. I don’t live in the woods, but I live fully. I love the people I’ve gotten to know, and the experiences I’ve had. And the ones that are pretty sour, I write about.
